"I’m interested in the abstraction and inversion of the world in the surface of water; of air and water colliding on a single plane and how I respond to it.  Often calm but also visually complex, my eye skims across the surface from the foreground to a vanishing point upstream or dips beneath the surface or pauses to look at the reflections.

The connection I feel to these places is representative of how I experience the world; through reflection, filtered and distilled via my inner landscapes as well as my outer ones and painting them is a way I find beauty in and understand the world."
